At the northwest edge of Augusta lies six miles of fast paced mountain bike terrain. At times you'll feel you're on a roller coaster as banked turns swoop downhill on a freewheeling run. The Summerhaven ATV Trail - an OHRV (Off-highway Recreational Vehicle) trail established by the state - invites experienced riders to rocket over rolling and twisting doubletrack. Intermediate riders can hammer out their own pace to test fitness and skill. Intrepid beginners will enjoy the challenge of this well marked and very rideable loop. Trail Surface: Fast doubletrack over gravel and loam surfaces worn down by ATVs, short sections of unpaved road, as well as open gravel pits and sand pits to negotiate
